One of the worst fact checks I've seen was on Politifact, about the five or six states that stopped vote counting on election night in 2020. They called it false, but when you read the article, it admits that the votes did stop coming into the tabulations. They called it false because they claimed that there was a reason why the vote counts stopped showing for several hours. Laughable. Everyone who stayed up and watched saw the reporters on CNN and the other networks all suddenly say "The vote counts aren't coming in now for some reason" and that happened in six states. When the vote counts were finally updated hours later, things looked much different.

And it was just a coinkydink that it only happened in swing states.
