Like I said in another thread just now...it's a sickness...a verifiable medical illness...they just can't help themselves. And it's wrecked (potentially) a once thriving country...way to go!
Hope it's been worth it Mike!

Agree, that was a classless remark by O Mike

Seriously? Trumpism, not the resistance to it, is wrecking the country. It's reversible, though.

The Dr's dont have clinical studies to guide them with treatment that they were even admitting that they have NO IDEA as to how long , if at all I will recover. Yes they wanted to say it was a mirical I was going home.

Yes former smoker and other immune deficiencies. High risk plus my age, but I'm fit and active and that is what helped me survive is my guess

It is a disease no one has to get if they are careful - not extreme, just careful.
Wear a mask, social distance, wash your hands, stay away from crowds, and people, like you and me who are at risk - just stay home as much as you can.
Most outbreaks are traceable to careless or criminal behaviors, like Coumo murdering the elderly.
If you have elderly living with you, then of course you put your kids on a leash.
Not much has changed since March.
In spite of it all, we STILL have not gone through anything close to what our parents and grandparents endured during the wars.
Stay home, on your couch, watch TV.....OMG! WHY MEEEEEE?????

Yeah, Trumpism is enabling violence in the streets across the country, it is allowing the spikes in COVID, it is all Trump.
Come on, man!
TRUMP does not run the states.
TRUMP does not run the cities.
Wake up and face reality. Just how is he wrecking the country, in specific ACTIONS?

I quit smoking 2 packs a day + about 7 years ago and my doctor told me my lungs have healed and recovered from the 40 years + of abuse I put them through. The damage is reversible, maybe not 100%.
As Toby says
I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once, as i ever was.

with more than 25 years of smoking your rise of Cancer and other problems are raised the longer you smoke past 25 years. Yes your lungs do clean up but there is damage that NEVER heals after 40 years of excessive smoking. Clinical studies to support this.
Good luck with your future.

Yes, but for many 7 years is the rest of their life. Those with COPD will never be "healed", those who made lifestyle changes in time to weather a virus did so 7 to ten years ago. Those who just quit bad lifestyle are the ones in trouble big time. Congratulations on the new you Woodtoo, much good luck in the coming years.

Because I won't vote for Trump your only interaction with me is going to name-call and make up stuff.
That should embarass you, but obviously, it doesn't. It does make you look rather scared and defensive though.
I guess you should be, after all.
Again, I'm proud of not voting for Trump. There's really nothing you could say to me that would upset me on that account. I hope my governor, who seems to have enough of Trump as well, isn't going to be adversely affected by Trump's failures though. Hutchinson doesn't deserve to go down with that ship. There's a number of others who I hope will not be adversely affected by Trump's bad leadership, but you never know. I think most Americans know the difference, or at least, I hope so.

Nothing has changed.
Most of the other 145 or so nations all started out about the same. Somehow they have managed not to become #1 in the world in BOTH CATEGORIES. Guess we are doing everything right.
Bottom line is we are supposed to be growing our economy back. With most of the world closing their borders to us, and hot spots in some of the major tourist states, I don't see how the economy can improve if we do not improve our numbers.
Maybe you can explain how that will happen though.
