Is this a real guy...or is it a robotic animation? I got a headache after only 30 seconds of listening to him.

Shapiro's voice is a little bit reminiscent of Porky Pig's, but he is very bright and he is well-principled.

Yes. I give him a shoeshine at my stand every Monday at noon and he religiously tips me.
