Gulfstrean 2 year old sale

I watched the auction via live feed yesterday with interest. I followed along with the catalog to review the breeding and keep track of the prices-- as each paraded thru the ring. The bidding was pretty lively....and not cheap. Some of the pin-hooking speculators made out well. Man...there had to be some beautiful confirmation on some of those horses as the prices received in South Florida on numerous hips were darn high. It humbled me....as I am thinking of going to Ocala in two weeks to look for one or two. Truly is the "Sport of Kings"

Uncle Mo continues to be a hot sire. Lots of scratches in this sale but a few pins did very well. A few newcomers to the game as well paying top dollar for their new horses. Good luck to everyone who bought one or more.
