Not a problem. Trump and his minions will soon be occupying a prison cell.

Why don't you go out tonight, find some dimly lit street, and watch the fireworks with Jussie Smollott?

When cops stand in a hallway doing nothing and little kids die. America is not doing good. I don't care who the President is.

The only hope is something good can come of that tragedy, and not more useless gun laws.

That question is hard to answer, the first Tuesday in November should be awesome and it is just about 4 months out.

Yes, the police likely made a mistake. It's a difficult job.
Truthfully, I don't know the real story, but it sounds like leadership failed. Alas, they make errors of judgement as well.
Imagine the guilt they will have to carry for the rest of their lives.
I feel for them as well as those who suffered direct loss.

They really need a thorough investigation, you would think having well laid plans in place a head of time should have been a no brainer these days.

I'd like for those cops to be interviewed in a public way so we can hear what the thinking was at the time. I have a hard time believing they were all afraid. I think it was more likely an order from someone to stand down. Who and why?

Information I heard they had done active shooter drilling in that very school not long ago. So they play acted the planned responce and killed it no doubt. But when the real thing went down... they doubted stood around and children got killed.
And the Mayor of Philadelphia said only Police should have guns... right.

That's what I smell too. Those cops would be chomping on the bit to go in and help those children. Some one high up had to have them stand hard, JMO. Would love to know more

in the world we live in, cops need to be trained properly, paid for the risks they take not this bullshit $60,000 a year to put their lives on the line, and constantly monitored. there is no chance in hell that you are getting good cops at these peasant wages.

There are places where $60k isn't a bad wage. I know a few cops that retired a half dozen years ago that were making $100k and they were unranked deputy sheriffs in LA County, Ca. They were working the holding cells and escorting prisoners in and out of court.
