Really have to hand it to Indiana Grand.

Immediately after R3 tonight (SAT 05-26-2018) they flashed the word OBJECTION on the track video.

Rather than show a replay of what happened during the race inside the eighth pole while the stewards reached a decision, someone decided instead to show their stupid graphic (yellow soap bubbles swirling around in slow motion.)

Here's a novel idea:

EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU HAVE AN INQUIRY OR AN OBJECTION (barring a catostrophic spill) instead of freaking soap bubbles, SHOW THE BETTORS A REPLAY!

Wow, he sure did not like that shadow, ran the 4 over. Ridiculous not to look into it.

Horse appeared to be spooked by the shadows from the light pole.

Should have been an inquiry at least, but of course even with an inquiry the stewards would have said it was too early in the race to affect the finish.

Diego Sanchez was on RALIS.......he was shocked that the Stewards didn’t at least take a look at it.

The connections tried to call the Stewards and no one picked up. They walked briskly to the scale in paddock to call upstairs.......they made it official before they had time.

That truly was unbelievable that they did nothing.

Connections were livid.

Why didn't he claim foul?

If true that really needs to be investigated.

Anybody see this DQ in the 4th at Belmont?

That DQ in the 4th cost me a bunch of money today at Belmont. While the did bump the , the coming in a few paths certainly had a lot to do with the contact that occurred from how I seen it.

I think it should have been no change, but the difference between cashing 0 and $5000 will make me biased

Prairie Meadows race 6

The 5 Wilbo comes out of the gate and sideswipes the 6. Then he cuts off the 1 right before the turn. Jockey objected but the blind judges didn't make a change. The 1 almost came back and got 4th at 63-1. Maybe the 5 being even money and the 1 the longest shot on the board swayed their decision just a little. It shouldn't matter, but who the hell knows. No consistency whatsoever.

Here's an idea. How about setting something up like the NBA has. An office where the stewards report to every day and they look over any objections or inquiries from all tracks. Have a certain amount of crews and shifts. At least there should be more consistency.

I think Wilbo had some help cutting off the 1, as in another horse veered into him first. I think that call could have went either way so leaving it up is ok by me.

GP R6...the 8 horse pushes in from the 8 path to the 3 path herding the 7, there is contact both ways and the 8 takes up at the last second, 7 is dq'd.

Didnt see the 7 do a thing wrong and the whole incident happens due to the herding of the 8. Joke. I didnt bet the race.

Whitmore definitely should have come down in the 7th race at Belmont on 7/7 (how's that for symmetry!). His actions clearly cost Shaft of Light a placing (and it did matter in the purse); then again, I'm an old-school, "a foul is a foul" guy, so Whitmore should have come down regardless.
