In horse racing, it is.

Yeah, sure. You got me. Have to admit I and others like me were assigned to bamboozle Horse Race OT blogs on behalf of the Al Gore/International/Communist-Socialist/liberal/Illuminati/Pizza Gate/intergalactic Climate change conspiracy.

See ya later. Have clandestine conspiracy club meeting. Hope I remember the latest secret handshake. Then again I can always check with my Captain Midnight secret decoder ring

A total waste of time. Been pulled into a dozen of these idiotic threads. Probably will again. They repeat every few months. Amazing how they always turn into WACKO CONSPIRACY THEORIES.

The entire alt right practiced their delusional defense of Chumpy's "deep state bull" first denying science and specifically global warming.

finally, you are admitting to spewing WACKO CONSPIRACY THEORIES.

You got me and the entire scientific, and journalistic communities.

Play among yourselves.

The poster child for cut and paste, internet educated scientist.

I could take what you know about science and roll it up. It would roll like a bb in a boxcar.

Anyone who thinks a rolling bb inside a boxcar is larger than the boxcar assuredly has a few cerebral-related issues. You need to commit yourself to the nearest mental health facility ASAP.

You are also a failure at analogies ......Boxcar's nickname comes from his abilities to pick longshot winners back in the day. It has nothing to do with empty freight cars.....Why am I not surprised.

Just brilliant!

What is "incoming"? Dropping humorless, out of it bombs?

And you want me to think you know science?

The next time a pretend scientists would like to wander into the world of co2, sea water temps and rising sea levels. I will recommend they start their theories with these estimates.

There are approximately 500 active volcanoes in the world today, not including those underneath the oceans. In fact, as you read these words, there are probably 20 volcanoes erupting right now. Between 50-70 volcanoes are erupting every year, 160 have erupted in the last decade.

While I was sleeping at a Holiday Inn Express at the age 12 this idea appeared in a dream. I pity the poor soul who thinks he can stop this act of 'Mother Nature.'

Sorry wrong. Volcanic activity previously especially in the prehistoric past did affect co2 levels (the paleozoic), but has not been a major contributor to CO2 in hundreds of thousands of years.

It's great dreaming about science, but it somewhat better researching it.

https://skepticalscience.com/volcano...al-warming.htm

Volcanic emissions are a small but important part of the global carbon cycle. Published reviews of the scientific literature by Mörner and Etiope (2002) and Kerrick (2001) report a range of emission of 65 to 319 million tonnes of CO2 per year. Counter claims that volcanoes, especially submarine volcanoes, produce vastly greater amounts of CO2 than these estimates are not supported by any papers published by the scientists who study the subject.

The burning of fossil fuels and changes in land use results in the emission into the atmosphere of approximately 34 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide per year worldwide, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).

The fossil fuels emissions numbers are about 100 times bigger than even the maximum estimated volcanic CO2 fluxes. Our understanding of volcanic discharges would have to be shown to be very mistaken before volcanic CO2 discharges could be considered anything but a bit player in contributing to the recent changes observed in the concentration of CO2 in the Earth's atmosphere.

Do the Earth's volcanoes emit more CO2 than human activities? No.

https://volcanoes.usgs.gov/vhp/gas_climate.html

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a greenhouse gas and is the primary gas blamed for climate change. While sulfur dioxide released in contemporary volcanic eruptions has occasionally caused detectable global cooling of the lower atmosphere, the carbon dioxide released in contemporary volcanic eruptions has never caused detectable global warming of the atmosphere. In 2010, human activities were responsible for a projected 35 billion metric tons (gigatons) of CO2 emissions. All studies to date of global volcanic carbon dioxide emissions indicate that present-day subaerial and submarine volcanoes release less than a percent of the carbon dioxide released currently by human activities. While it has been proposed that intense volcanic release of carbon dioxide in the deep geologic past did cause global warming, and possibly some mass extinctions, this is a topic of scientific debate at present.

There are all kinds of scientist that disagree.....you know the kind that doesn't have a political vested interest in the outcome. The first thing you need to do is use a search engine that doesn't have a political agenda. Then all kinds of scientist march front and center with opposing views.....you know just like real science. I use DuckDuckGo. They don't store your searches or sale your personal info. There are pages and pages of stories that reflect both sides of the issue..
