The idea of this thread is to inform the members BEFORE the race, not redboard after.

It's funny how people root for others success, like rooting for Baffert or Zayat to win, but when someone on a forum wins, there's not the same love and congratulations. I've always wondered why people don't want fellow forumites to win but have no problem rooting for horses or sports teams, etc. without any financial interest whatsoever on the games.
It's perfectly fine to gloat if you crushed a show bet and beat some minus pool jumper.

Why would someone do that and crush their own price? It's better to cash in, get the 50 dollar show prices than come here to call out the Joker who made the big show bet while hoping he is a lurker. It's on everyone individually to monitor show bets, if you miss out, that's on you.

Crush their own price?
I have an idea. Maybe the actual jumpers can start posting when they place the bets in hopes of inflating their price when the flood of money comes in on others in the show pool.

Yes, the more money that shows up on the non jumper horse, the less they pay.

I wouldn't call betting a couple of bucks vs. a plunger horse an auspicious Redboard... Not imo anyway..
I just take it as a guy that got lucky and wanted to say as much....
After all. this whole thread is about such things...Before or after the fact, as I see it... Of course being alerted to one these opportunities before the fact is better...

You don't say....I was wondering how that worked.
You state "crushed" like someone is betting $200 to show on every horse in the race and the flood of money is going to knock the show payout from $79 on Calamity Kate to $16.
Give me a break.

I may be misreading the recent posts, but there appears to be an assumption that everyone including the whales will bet against it once more people become aware of a bridgejumper,. From my observations, I have not seen that to be true, they enact whichever strategy they suspect will be a winning one, whether going after the "found money" or betting against it and hoping for a larger return (or a combination of the two in some bizarre "can't lose" wager).
