Until the media decides to stop dividing people to get viewers and politicians decide to stop dividing them for votes, Peace on Earth is a pipe dream. That is the sad and sorry truth.

The media is looking for viewers and the politicians are looking for votes...but what are "we, the people" looking for? Why are we becoming the victims of what the media and the politicians are trying to do? When will we start thinking for ourselves, and take responsibility for our own actions? Because if we are just puppets on a string...then we don't deserve any peace or happiness in this life.

Wink

I talked to a handicapper who plays NY and EMD...

he was very humble and had lot of positivity for PA

No, that is a mischaracterization...

Hopefully a peaceful and healthy new year awaits everyone.

And, a quasi Happy Birthday to all horses.

You can leave me out of the "we", on most subjects that matter I am perfectly capable of thinking for myself. The only useful knowledge I am weak in is when you take things down to molecular level that goes for humans, plants, electronics, metals, etc. I don't know spit about world geography, but that isn't useful info to me as I am never going to travel out of the country. I think while the government and news has always mislead and lied I think it is more rampant than ever. You can go to .GOV sites now that will be full of misinformation at best.

I consider all news suspect as it seems everyone has an agenda. I always tell lefties to watch a politically charged court case like Kyle Rittenhouse's murder trial on Court TV, see how it is covered by your favorite liberal network news and get back to me. Of course none of them will do that. I had people known to me that thought Rittenhouse shot black people, maybe that was because POS Biden and Harris kept labeling him a racist murderer. He shot 3 white people, killing two. So if that was too much trouble, I had an ex-girl friend who evolved into hardcore woke Democrat from a typical one, she always had to watch three 30 minute CBS, NBC, ABC national news shows in a row, even though they regurgitated the same crap. When they would tell a lie, I would tell her to go look that up it is BS, she never did. We are talking blatant, like a guest coming on and saying states with strict gun laws have 1/4 of the gun deaths of those with lax ones. That was a doozy.

I suppose most people want to trust their "trusted sources" and turn a blind eye to the truth. I think the most frequent lying these days is over green energy and electric cars. I hear crap that would have me pulling my hair out if I had any and a lot of the left believe all of it.
