Rest in Peace. He was a major rags to riches story, he was a 10th round pick that made the play that launched a dynasty. ALS is a terrible disease and unfortunately it doesn't appear many strides have been made to fight it.

It seems that a lot of former NFL players have been afflicted with ALS. I believe that a study connected the effects of brain trauma to the disease. Very sad news.
