Thursday Night Football

The Washington Native Americans travel to the Twin Cities to take on the Minnesota Native Scandanavians (OK,Redskins vs. Vikings). The line is the Purple Ones by 16 1/2 with a O/U of 42. I've noticed a lot of above average spreads this year,as it seems several teams are in full-on tank mode for a rebuild. Not sure the Vikings are deserving of this large a number.Yes, Kirk Cousins has had three consecutive excellent games but sustainability is not one of his strengths, not to mention his favorite target Adam Thielen is out tonight.Should be a victory for Minnesota but the Redskins can play some D and they seem to be more disciplined under new interim coach Bill Callahan. Thus I'm taking the Redskins and thinking Washington can score a little more than they normally do pushing the game into over territory.(i.e in the vicinity of 28-16)

YTD 6-2 (4-1 W/L, 2-1 O/U)

Right on the spread; missed on the O/U.

There should be a bet like Snoozer/Not a Snoozer.

Split decision, failed the under/over but Washington kept it under the spread.Agree with you, Rastaman, that game could have been sold as Sominex.Exchanging field goals lacks excitement.

YTD. 7-3. (W/L 5-1 , O/U 2-1)

Atlanta (+8) over Seattle. Game started at 3 1/2 for Seattle. That ridiculous number quickly went to 8.Falcons stink but they still have talent on that roster. And that time zone thing is a real thing.Atlanta head coach Dan Quinn has to win or he's likely out of a job tomorrow. The bye week is next week and the Falcons have 3 ex NFL HC's on their staff.

Philiadelphia (+2 ) over Buffalo.Bills are a solid team but they haven't dominated anyone yet. They aren't built to come from behind.Eagles can't afford a loss as the NFC is so strong, they won't get a wild card unless they run the table if they lose this one.Desperation time.

YTD. 7-3 (W-L 5-1, O/U 2-2)

Monday Night Football

Miami at Pittsburgh. Line is Steelers by 14, O/U is 43.5

I'm taking the Steelers to cover and the over. The Dolphins play hard but talent is lacking. They keep trading away players for future draft picks and Pittsburgh is still a solid team that has been playing better.

YTD. 9-3. (W/L 7-1, O/U 2-2)

Looked early like not only would Miami cover the spread but might actually win straight up, but the Steelers finally
righted the ship. However they fell just short of the cover and O/U ,so I whiffed on both.

YTD. 9-5. (W-L 7-2, O/U 2-3)
