2 INITIAL STRIKE 15-1 has a legitimate figure IMO.A real toughie from the outside post and a few other prospects make it a decent betting race.

7th 2 LADIES MAN gets a big switch from a sneaky barn.A big improvement could be expected.

11th 8 STAR PARADE believe was a private purchase a few back by this trainer/driver combo. He has been going well and ships back here for this ONSS.
10 ALL AMERICAN EXTRA raced with the #8 in last and gets a huge driver switch. He shows a very good angle here for me.

Be back later...feel free to post any picks or thoughts.

Cool 4th

2 INITIAL STRIKE is as classy or classier of a trotter than MC FELIX right now.The pace in his last two tries were too slow and that hurt her chances to close.

4 MC FELIX has been going in the wrong direction. The previous trainer is back listed.Don't know if team B could be improved upon.

5 I KNOW MAGIC is versatile, but I cannot believe he is still eligible for this class. He had all kinds of potential for Lauer early in her career and has been stuck in neutral ever since.

6 BERNDT ENERGY beat my top choice two back impressively...Must use.

7 PRICEVALLEY REVITUP has dangerous speed...I will use him behind.

10- SELFISH PRINCESS shows some killer lines in the ELEGANT IMAGE series a while back and has to be used.

w/p 2

2/1-5-6-7-10 in a box.

2-6/1-2-5-6-7-10/all triple.

Is the early play.

I will have to use the #1 as well in the box 1-2.

Cool 7th

This is another competative one:

#2 LADIES MAN had no excuses against a few of these in last, but that is the fastest he has gone so far.He also gets a huge driver change to Macdonald. This guy Jonathan Ritchie impressed me with his setting up a horse a few years back and I haven't seen him again resurface until tonight.
I also took a look at that mile on June 27 here against TOMMY TIGER.He got a shuffle there and still held well.

#2 win/place

2/5-7 in a box.

2/1-3-4-6-8-9-10 in a box.

Alright...It's a trot 5 LA STAR DREAM is due to break if you follow his pattern...HAHAHAHA!

The fact is that he has shown some very classy lines here in his career.9-1 is an overlay here... I must play.

w/p if 6-1 or better #5

5/2-4-6-7-10 in a box.

I am not too thrilled about these last two now.Mark Mac has been not getting the most out of his horses of late and the #1 gets a switch to a hot Randy Waples.

I will box 1-6 and a 1-3 here in the tenth.How about a small double 1/1-8-10.

Cool Finale

The #1 looks unbeatable off that last line out of town. The #8 has improved 110% since the barn change and Sheppard is on my bomb list drivers in Canada.

Let's try a triple 1-8/1-8/all

1-8 exacta box.

smaller 1-10 box.

#8 win

Hi Bots: You were once a trainer and I would love to pick your brain if I may.

What is the ideal rest period for a harness horse?. I like my horse to come back after 7 days give or take a couple of days. For instance in the 4th tonite the #7 won the race and at good odds to boot but he had missed a date. The trainer could very well have entered this horse on Aug 23 in the same class but he chose to give this horse an extra week off. Don't you think that if a trainer has a hot horse in the barn he should enter him as soon as possible and cash it in instead of waiting an extra 7 days.

Love to hear your comments.

Thanks in advance
