the data from the Center for Disease Control (linked) shows that the yearly deaths from Covid in the U.S. so far this year (it includes December, but I'm not sure how much of December) as 67,187

in 2021 it shows the death count as being 463,267

in 2020 it shows the death count as being 385,676

when you switch tabs to monthly it shows the death count for November of 2021 as being 32,328

it shows the death count from November of 2023 as being 5,439
