Union Rags!!!! Assure you everyone will be posting, after the Derby, how this horse is a monster. You will never get 5-1 on this horse again. Now is the time.

I like Bodemeister, but have the right to change my mind before post time.

Don't really have Derby plays outside of a few "fun" bankroll bets. But right now it'll be
Union Rags+Take Charge Indy / UR+TCI / ALL
and
UR+TCI / ALL / UR+TCI
$36.00 for 0.50 tris

Went the Day Well
And post position doesn't matter for me on this one. I'll probably eat these words.

I am very excited for the Derby and having opinions is fine and dandy...
but how is this related to "Handicapping Discussion" ? Selections or Triple Crown Trail maybe?
Gemologist-Alpha-Union Rags (chalk ouch) and live ls Daddy Nose

@Soverign, I hadn't had my coffee yet and so didn't get the hint. WTDW will not win because this field is tougher than that one was for AK and there was no Gemologist there either. I think WTDW could possibly make Gemologist EARN his Triple Crown. Especially if they are smart and skip the Preakness but he just is not fast enough to step with Gemologist.

And Gemologist isn't fast enough to keep up with Trinniberg. And the hip bone is connected to the leg bone. We've all seen 9-furlong monsters wilt under that last furlong. I chose stamina over speed for this race. And Went the Day Well has carried 126 and more as a 2 YO. And both times he has finished a close 2nd in these contests. So did any horse that Gemologist beat come back to win?

Sov, did you see the Jerome? Gemologist was quite flattered by that race. As for WTDW, if you prefer to weave through 20 horses with a plodder type be my guest. I don't think WTDW is a bad horse. He is just to slow. I mean that he lacks an explosive move. He could be 2nd by 7 imo. Who needs to step with Trin when Bodemeister and Hansen are there? My horse is a stalker. The speed will come back to him anyway. As for 1 1/8th horses, please tell me which ones have gone 1 1/4 already? I must have missed that one.

I like Daddy Nose Best a lot. I'm doing an exacta box of Daddy Nose Best, Union Rags, El Padrino ( then it's a toss up for the last horse..either Dullahan, Bodemeister (worried he didn't race at 2) or Gemologist).

As a 2YO on soft turf carrying 126 lbs. No turn of foot. Okay. Pink shirt with black arm bands.
