Senator Lindsey Graham stated last night on the Hanity show that Mrs. Ford hired her lawyer and took her polygraph exam in July. Apparently she had no intentions of remaining anonymous. Hearing to be held next Monday....Ford and Kavenaugh have both been invited according to Graham. I'm with you clocker......I love political drama.....man, what a show. No way, it could top the Clarance Thomas lynching at his confirmation hearings.

Sure, right you will.

What if her testimony is accurate? Should the adjudication of future policy be dependent on the actions of a teenager 35 years ago? Is that really the measure of this man, or any other man who was once a teenager? Is that really where you want the direction of this republic to go?

If Kavanaugh is deemed to be not qualified to be on the Court, why is he qualified to be in the position he now holds? Maybe he should be impeached from it, because he's such a lifelong scoundrel. Maybe every judge should have their past re-scrutinized, in the spirit of "Show me the man, and I'll show you the crime." Must be dozens, or hundreds, or more, similar circumstances. Let the purge begin with Kavanaugh, because teenagers are such reprehensible creatures. And let the purge include the very senators that will vote as a result of this development.

On Fox news yesterday, some panel was saying that if Kavanaugh was deemed to have perpetrated the alleged crime, or lied about it, then he would have to step down from his current position as US Circuit Judge.

I am completely biased here. The fact that the dems didn't bring this up sooner totally throws out this incident in my opinion. But it's all about that idiot senator Susan Collins.

This is a HUGE situation for our republic. Since congress can never agree on anything anymore, these days, it's up to the courts to interpret (make?) the laws.

Trump didn't seem too concerned about these Kavanaugh charges yesterday and indicated he is ok with pushing back the Thursday vote. I'm not sure what would happen is Kavanaugh does not get confirmed. Will Trump just nominate someone else and if he does will there be time to get him confirmed before Jan 1st? Even though there is an election in November, the current congress has to remain intact until that time, right? And would be able to confirm judges even though they may be lame ducks?
