I was at Ceasers in Las Vegas this week and an employee at the sportsbook said that churchill offered them 1/2 of what there last contract was. They were not taking Chuchill in Vegas since opening day last Saturday. They were able to settle last night so the will be taking wagers in vegas starting today. but they are plyaing hardball with there product. If it wasnt the derby I am sure some places would not have caved. 21 million bet on the derby last year in Vegas alone is a figure i heard.
