Amazing BEIJING DAXING AIRPORT
I can see how they are going to be seriously competing and joining in the Aviation market. I said a year ago they weren't going to be sitting around assembling dollar store widgets for us much longer.
60,000 construction workers, all receiving paychecks.
Imagine an airport as a tourist destination.....I'd like to see it.
Quite impressive and beauitful----rainwater colleciton and management system, and other bells and whistles.
Can't wait to see what Boeing and Airbus come up with

I want to be able to get on my plane right outside my door. Airports getting bigger and faster (and more fun) seems to me like antiquated thinking. I love how they said, with the starfish design, a person can walk to the farthest teminal in only eight minutes. Obviously the elderly Chinese are pretty fit.

I’ve been flying all over the world for 35 years. I have never found any airport worth visiting on its own nor have I found a destination that I wouldn’t go back to because the airport didn’t meet my standards of design.

Sounds like someone has a scatter-brain idea of turning airports into shopping malls -- nice hangouts, ya know?

destination tours will surely happen if the world ever opens again.
Some of us have gone on a bus trip to a casino for a day.
There used to be flights on NWA (might be still with new airline) from various cities Asia to MSP for a day of shopping at Mall of America.
Boeing and Airbus need to be concerned about China's manufacturing, lack of patent concern and reverse engineering capabilities ....

I agree 100%!
I’m an engineer with a wireless communications company, and the biggest opportunities we were getting were from Huawei. When the Trump administration stopped American companies from dealing with Huawei, my company stood (and did) to lose hundreds of millions of dollars.
But as a company we could agree that in the long run this would be better for both our company and our country.
China goal is to become the number one power in the world, and they don’t mind playing the long game to achieve this goal.
It’s my opinion, that China is the biggest threat to our National Security, and we need to stay vigilant.
Unfortunately, our country is divided. China and our enemies see blood in the water and are looking to take advantage. We as country need to somehow come together!
I know at this time we are far from coming together, but if we don’t it will slowly contribute to the demise of this GREAT COUNTRY, we call the United States of America!!

I thought the world is doing away with airplanes. Are they electric that are going to be flying there. That is what Biden said. The green new deal that everyone in the world is going to abide by. That airport is going to be a ghost town.
