BetMix

Software junkie here.Ran across this and wonder if anyone here has tried it.
One good thing, for $50 a month all the data is included. hat's a good deal right here if the software itself is any good.

I tried it for about 3 months, maybe a couple or 3 years ago. Never made any money off it. I can't remember exactly why I dropped it but it was for that reason that I can't quite remember that I dropped it.

One thing I do know is that you are limited by the programs protocol of what "factors" they offer for you to base your betting decision on and I did not like their menu of factors. Not as good as mine.

Thanks, light. I notice they have 145 factors to choose from. That's a lot.

I have been using Betmix on and off since they first came out. Currently, there are 51 factors you can use. I am now on Betmix and will probably stay on as it is well worth it for what you get. The main problem with Betmix is that there is just too much information and things you can do with it though I have learned to love it for that very reason. If you can think of any information you may want, it probably can do it. A few of examples:

Between 1/1/2017 and Jun 12,2019
Bob Baffert with Mike Smith at S.A. 31races 10W 18Pl 21Sh
0 wins in 13 starts at DelMar
12 wins in 17 starts at New York tracks
Mike Simth has only had 2 turf mounts for Baffert, finishing 2nd in one at 12.90/1 and 14th in the other at 8.80/1.

1/1/2019 thru March 12, 2019
Mdn Clm ML of 5/2 all tracks 415 races 126W 206Pl 270Sh ROI .89.5
Tampa 50 races 16W 22Pl 32Sh ROI .99

May 2019 Horse with Bullet work 226 races 59W 106Pl 153 Sh ROI .72
Avg. odds 2.48 Avg odds o winner 1.78

1/1/19 thru 6/12/19 Claimed last 1382 races 243W 469Pl 631Sh ROI .84
Claimed with Bullet 165races 37W 59Pl 73Sh ROI .99.6

This year Mdn from post 5 357 races 39W 89Pl 141 Sh ROI .59

I can. Their factors are very cliche, redundant and common. Everyone has them.
Check out their free "race of the day" and you will see the 45 factors.

Go here

https://betmix.com/free-race-of-the-day/

and then scroll down to "Betpad" race profile and scroll the pad. You will see the cliche 45 factors that everyone has.

Thanks, guys.
I chkd out free race yesterday at Parx, had winner but bet dn to 3/2.
Didn't seem to be a free race for today.
I played Belmont with software I'm currently using. Only bet 3 of them. Had two wins. $21.60, $13.40.

You do not use all the factors. You find out what works best at what you are comfortable with. Race of the day gives you access to maybe 20% of Betmix.

I never have more than 5 factors, usually only two or three.
I will try to attach the two totally different, but profitable plays.
The Baffert play is an automatic bet for me. Oaklawn if I am aware of a play. I have had several big ones there, but some long run outs.

Oaklawn Mdn Long Shot method 2018 and 2019---Uses only one factor.
156 races 25 wins (16%) ROI 250% 34 Pl(22%) ROI 136% 45 SH(29%) ROI 105%

Baffert Mdn 1st time starter---2017 thru today USES only one factor
51 Races 29 wins(57%) ROI 165% 36 Pl(71%) ROI 135% 37 SH ROI 106%

I was a BET-MIX user before Pace-View. I really enjoyed it--lotta fun! I subscribed for at least 6 months....maybe more.

I didn't make a profit--my horrendous money mgt sure didn't help any.

I'm surprised it's still only $50 a month...I'm pretty sure it was the same price 4-5 years ago.

At one time it was $30/month, but the price rose to $50. People who had it at $30 were grandfathered in. I think once in a while they even have a special offer where you can still get it for $30. $50 isn't too bad, but I agree with Light, the factors are pretty limited and not very original.

What software are you currently using to get those 2 nice priced horses? With software like that who needs Betmix?

I'm using RDSS. I'm an old Sartin guy so really enjoy it, but just as I did in the 90's I still enjoy taking a look at other software. Just can't help myself...

When you picked those two winners, was that betting just one horse to win per race or multiple horses to win per race?

Light, I've always been a 2 horse Bettor even before Sartin. So it was 2 horses per race. Still a nice profit.
One of the horses was a first choice, the other a second choice.
