Women's World Cup Betting

I'm not knowledgeable on this but the author makes this excellent point:

"The United States and France enter this year’s Women’s World Cup as the favorites, with the Americans currently getting 7-4 odds and the hosts right behind at 7-2 (per SuperBook USA). But here’s the thing about that: 𝐅𝐈𝐅𝐀 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐔𝐒𝐀 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭."

for those who like to dutch all of the others he mentions could be bet to win, (mostly shots), and if any one wins there would be a nice profit
Germany is the next lowest odds at 11/2

is this a great bet? I'm not saying that. but I did find the emboldened point very interesting and persuasive

Groups stages in World Cups seldom go according to plan.
Especially when finishing second in a group is more attractive than winning.

Probably best to watch a game, or two, before taking a stand.

I’m no expert but I did surprisingly well on last years WC and will be doing some betting after the group stages. I follow the U.S. women more closely than the men.

Oh I love how they keep time in soccer. Cameroon scores late , celebrates, fall out for 2 minutes and the game just ends. Classic.
