Agree. Okay, no more Bushes. But on the other side, no more Clintons either. Dynasty is not a desired situation in a free society Republic.

What's in a name if he's a man with a plan and can make a difference. I'm not sure though he could make a difference anyway, because 8 years of Obama will have wrecked everything beyond hope. This is practically a given.

I would like to think that we are a nation that can look beyond two families(Bush & Clinton) for leadership. What are we, India or some other third world nation?

"W" was obviously heavily influenced by his father, espousing the same general policies and even hiring the same people. I don't know much about Jeb, but reporters that cover Florida say that Jeb is also very much a part of that political legacy. So until I see otherwise, I'm going to assume it is more of the same, and that's a bad idea on principle. Same for the Clintons. And then there is Ted Kennedy, and I rest my case.
Imagine the public reaction if Jeb was elected, and he gives his victory speech with Cheney and Rumsfeld standing behind him.

a few examples off the top of my head;
Governors - Walker, Jindal, Pence
Senators - Cruz, Rubio, Paul
Put one of those up against the "fresh faces" of the democratic party like Hillary or Biden, or any of the other moonbats talking about running.
There are others, but at this point I like Cruz the best. He's smart and acts like a leader.

Walker is the only named mention you mentioned that deserves a second look. Christie is the republican with best chance of beating a democrat. As for Jeb Bush, I constantly amazed by how many people have forgotten what a mess his brother left country in. I think he has an outside chance because his brother got a lot of Latino votes and it going to be darn tough for a republican to win without Latino votes. Besides he has the face that makes him look presidential. As for moonbats, they come any crazier than Rand Paul. He could not survive the primaries with giving himself away. After watching Cruz in action last weekend, it is pretty clear he has lot to learn about even be a senator. Thank you Ted, for allowing us to get a dozen democratic appointees approved that were previously thought to be dead. Rubio, Jindal and Pence have no chance.

Your analysis of Cruz is all wrong, what he did had no bearing on the democratic appointees, that was going to happen anyway and nobody on the GOP tried to stop any of them. total nonissue ginned up to feed into the Cruz is a kook narrative.
As far as who has a chance, I think your side is vastly overrated. Hillary, if she survives the primary can and will be beaten in the general. and don't discount that there are two full years of mayhem left for President Chauncey Gardner that will continue to damage the democratic brand which is already in the toilet.

Ted Cruz is the second coming of Joe McCarthy. I don't think he's a drinker so he'll probably be around longer.

If Ted Cruz takes to the floor of the United States Senate for another 20 + hour marathon you can kiss any comparison to anyone to him away with the amount of damage to the democrat's. Joe McCarthy was spot on, un-American activities should be pursued especially now, commies & ISIS.

Clinton vs Bush proving we are a twisted monarchy. Our government has become perverted and laughable. Shame.

Shame on us. We are the blame for that.

If all we can come up with is the current list of losers, we might as well as an S.R. to our name and be done with it.
It is embarrassing what low quality people we look to for leadership.
Perhaps we could outsorce it to India.

He should start looking into the real socialist organizations like horsemen's group. They are chief advocates of taking money from the rich(casinos) and giving it to the poor(them)
As a liberal democrat, I hope Teddy keeps ups those 20 hour marathons.

Some of those appointments had around for more than 6 months waiting for a technicality to allow a vote on them. No way they get that vote without the aid of Ted Cruz. They die with this version of congress at the years end. They would have to have new hearings. No way they get a vote in the new GOP controlled senate either. If he going to play with the big boys in the senate, he had better learn the senate rules. They will eat him for lunch if he doesn't. If all he wants is to make a few speeches, he be better advised to pick a better forum. Nobody listens to or reads about anything said on the senate floor. In a month nobody will even remember he made his speech or the screw up it caused.
