If the good guy had a gun the killer wouldn't be on the loose and probably killing any more. And we wouldn't have the cost of a trial and imprisonment.

It is a call for libs to rush and disarm ALL armed threats, because they do succeed.

So, you think it's really a smart thing, generally, for an unarmed person to go up against an armed person?

I bet you think it's really cool for little kids in schools to be "armed" with rubber bands and paper clips when a guy comes into the their classroom blazing away.

I figured it was something "brilliant" like that. I wonder if any of the libs ran the numbers to find the success rate.

That's absurd. Any intelligent person knows that much more powerful weapons, like a bucket of rocks, is needed in that situation.

I'm not sure what point this makes. Dude is a hero...

If anything kinda hurts the ban assault rifles argument if an unarmed dude can take a guy armed with one down.

I think he's trying a little too hard with this one. The case against the second amendment is now that you can take on a shooter bare-handed with decent outcomes apparently.

I think his implicit point is that it's probably not wise to be in a Waffle House at 3-something am.
