HANA takeout rates

Was wondering if anyone knew why the takeout rate for WPS for Woodbine is different at HANA than what I found at Woodbine's webste?

Does Woodbine maybe not include what they charge in signal fees?

I play with an ADW. Is it higher than at the track?

It's also really hard to find takeouts for Harness tracks in general.

Does anyone know what the takeout is for Win and Exacta for WOODBINE MOHAWK specifically?

Thanks

Goto the woodbine website and look for takeout. Thoro is 11.65 plus 3.3 for horsemen and government. Harness is 13.65 plus 3.3 for horsemen and government.

We listed it on the 2017 Track Ratings pages as 14.95 in green font followed by an asterisk. (The * or asterisk character means that it's clickable.)

If you click on it you should see a popup message that reads as follows:
Quote:
Win is 14.95 Place/Show is 16.95
Are you saying those rates are wrong?

No, that makes sense.

I didn't know about clicking on it. Thanks. (Now I see it listed in the Key box.)

Still don't know how to find Harness tracks though.

Thx, the numbers match HANA when you add the 3.3%
____

Just as a sidenote, 2% more to play Harness seems unfair.
Any idea why they charge more?

Denny, I see that you edited your post after I replied to it.

Just to clarify things:

The takeout rates on the 2017 HANA Track Ratings pages are for thoroughbred tracks (not harness.)

Over the past several weeks one of our volunteers has been quietly compiling a list of takeout rates for harness tracks. We still have to verify the rates before we can publish them on our site - but expect to have them out in the next 2-3 weeks. (When that happens it will be the first time we will have published takeout rates for harness.)

That said, this is the latest info I have (still need to formally verify with the track) for Woodbine/Mohawk harness:

Code:
RACETRACK WPS EX DD TRI SUPER P3 P4 P5 P6 HI5
----------------------------------------------------------------------
MOHAWK 17 20.5 20.5 27 26.3 26.3 25 15 na 15 *single jackpot
----------------------------------------------------------------------
WOODBINE 17 20.5 20.5 27 26.3 26.3 25 15 na 15 *single jackpot
----------------------------------------------------------------------

JP,

Thx for clarifying

That's great news about having harness tracks included by HANA.
______

I love playing Wdb /Mhk, but, feel I'm getting the worse of it on takeout.

Does anyone know why the rates are higher for Win at the harness track that Woodbine operates than the flat track?

Have there been any changes in takeout rates since the 2017 HANA list?

The 2017 track ratings pages should reflect current takeout rates.

If anyone out there is aware of a rate change that isn't reflected on the 2017 track ratings pages, feel free to report it.

Shoot me a private message or an email:

Love Keeneland but as a multi race player its damn hard to play anything over 20%. Maybe I’ll just punch a few Pick5 tix...
