Beckford --William Walker Stakes

Another impressive graduate from the BCJT

I watched the race live last. Never in doubt. A cleaner trip and Mendelssohn might have had himself a dog fight last fall.

Wasn't this a five furlong sprint? What does this possibly have to do with the Triple Crown trail?

If you don't find it useful, ignore it or have it deleted.

I find it useful to examine what horses from the same race do after in order to get an idea how stout the race was. I didn't think this was novel, and I certainly wasn't alone in watching this race because there are three runners from the BCJT in this year's derby, and a 4th will be in the Pat Day Mile.

But as I said, if you can't possibly see what this might have to do with the TCT, then ignore it, or have it deleted, I am assuming your wishes likely have a lot of pull here.

The horse that ran 9th in Bolt D'Oro's maiden win won today at 23-1 against MSW horses. Is that thread worthy?

Point is the Beckford race could have been mentioned in any of the threads about Mendelssohn. In retrospect, I should have just moved it. You are correct the info might be relevant to some people, I just don't see it as worthy of a new thread, that is all. Do you see my point?

I got the same response too when I mentioned it on Twitter. I was on track. It was an explosive stretch run. Very talented horse, ran 5th two lengths off Mendelssohn first time lasix.
