The movie The Unforgivin the scene were Clint Eastwood killed little bill in the bar there was a sign behind the bar on the wall that read Gun Free Zone lol. why do these peeps think that will stop anything lol. There was a political woman in Texas not sure of what office she held , she watched her parents die from a gunman because the place was a gun free zone and she usually carried but this 1 time she left her gun in the car.

I am probably mistaken but you may be thinking about the Luby's in Killeen, tx. That was early 90s IIRC. The lady wasn't a politician but I remember her interview. She was devastated that she didn't have her firearm with her. It would have saved many lives given her position in the restaurant
Like I say, I'm probably getting details wrong. But I do recall the event

If only this had been in place we could have stopped the mass shooting in Albany over the weekend. 
Now we need a law that would have stopped the guy with the sword from hacking a guys arms off.

I would bet you if a person with a concealed carry permit was caught with a gun in a "gun free" zone they would get a stiffer punishment than a violent felon caught with one.

With out a doubt... Good Citizen could be holding Harry Hoodrat at gun point after stopping a armed rape... and would be hauled in while they gave back Mr Hoodrat's stolen gun and apologized for his inconvenience. And will be filling charges on his behalf.

You probably would know, do they clean up Louisville before the derby? My friend and I got in a couple days early, along with asking where to eat and drink, I asked where the bad sections of town were. We went and checked them out, living in Southern California I had seen much worse, even in Riverside where I lived at the time. I thought they might have spiffed it up.
I was also amazed at the traffic after the last race on Derby Day. The traffic jam heading to Lexington cleared in 2-3 miles, if that was at a SoCal track with that big of crowd it would have been so much worse.

Inner Dirt...Churchill Downs is for all intents and purposes surrounded by bad areas now. It didn't used to be that way before.
No Louisville for me. Lexington is closing in...FAST. The stories are out there. Lexington set a record for Homicides last year...and are on a pace to shatter that record this year. In a City with a Population of just over 300,000...as of yesterday they have had 661 Car Thefts. It has become a Liberal Utopia.
