Liberals around the world have become quite adept at covering their mountains of shit expertly in the ol' litter box of politics, while simultaneously turning Conservative baby rabbit turds into END OF THE WORLD shit storms...with the help of their complicit liberal media, of course.

"Blackface" Trudeau is a prime example. You think a Conservative could have survived that scandal? No way.

Former Virginia Governor "Blackface" Northam rode out his term as well...you think a Republican would have been able to do that? Absolutely not.

There are many other examples.

If Johnson was a liberal, I know the media would have made sure all of his "scandals" would have been minimized to the point they all would have quietly faded away....and he would have never had to resign.

I'm not saying he's some super great leader...far from it...so please don't think otherwise.

You think UK media is liberal? It is overwhelmingly right wing (some far right) and the vast majority of our national papers support the conservatives. The UK media liberal

It was not the media that took him down, it was his own self serving corruption, lies and failure to address the issues the country has.

Even at the end he is failing in his role. The UK is today facing record high temperatures, people are dying, roads are melting, airports closed and instead of chairing the country's emergency committee he attends a farewell party at the PM's country residence, just as he did during the pandemic when he missed five meetings because he was writing his book.

Are your roads made of Wax?

Sounds like a lot of fun over there.

Really? Maybe I'll put the UK on my list of possible retirement options. Then again...melting roads isn't very attractive...

I thought the melting road thing was weird also. I went to grade school in Palm Desert Ca, we had some massive global warming in the late 60's and early 70's. Lots of days were it got into the 120's, most of the roads were asphalt. None of the roads ever melted.

Was it like driving through water? That is what some UK news reports said. If outside temp is sunny and 120F that asphalt paving is probably 140F+. Which if it was recently applied or sealed it could get a little sticky, in 120F+ heat. If you are going to damage asphalt paving from heat, you would need something like a decent size fuel fire. Hot mix asphalt paving is laid at 275F and then compacted with a 20+ ton steam roller.

Another thing that the climate alarmist never mention when they site minor increasing temps and flooding in cities as evidence of man made climate change, is a lot of it is because of the creation of an asphalt jungle. Due to replacing natural soil and foliage with cement and asphalt pavement, you lose areas that soak in or take away water, and do not magnify and retain heat.
