I'm not surprised. I expected this after S. Carolina removed all their flags from government buildings and flagpoles. Nikki Haley was exuberant, having shit on the very people that made her governor.
If they can change a state flag that's been a fixture since 1894, what's to stop them from changing the American flag? Perhaps have the stars replaced with BLM.

We're now living in a "Cancel Culture."
If anyone finds "dirt" on any historical persons, events, or symbols, that is now justification to pretend they never existed.
Hence, the "History Revisionists" are getting their way.
Also, anything perceived to be associated with "White Privilege" will be cancelled too. e.g. Gone With The Wind

I have long maintained that this nation has been embroiled in a culture war for decades. The fact that a statue of George Washington can be torn down and a flag burned on it says a lot. No punishment...nothing, and if there were arrest they'd let them go. Pathetic!!
Wonder if them taking a wrecking ball to the Statue of Liberty would even raise eyebrows of leftist leaders. I have my doubts.

In fact had a little incident this morning. My truck door was open, punched the little 911 button I have programmed on my radio/phone screen. 911 got to hear a gentleman threaten me while parked at a gas station taking care of a couple of our neighborhood strays-dogs. I was feeding n watering them when I was approached from behind by a neighbor who I had a dispute with a few months ago when his dog tried to attack my wife.
Sheriff Deputies arrived in 5 min and corralled him as he tried to drive off. I produced my ID and Pistol permit and they never blinked. I advised them I was armed. No problem. They inquired as to where my firearm was (on my hip) and what kind? Never asked to see it and allowed me to wear it the entire time.
TEXAS!
