Hockey

3 game 7's today and I think 2 tomorrow, maybe more.

Refs have nothing to do with it?

Unless the team local to me is making a good play-off run I don't watch and I

still don't understand what defines icing and offside. Just curious is hockey like the NBA where star players get away with more than an average player?

The offside rule is easy to understand and spot. You cannot pass the puck to a player already in that zone defined by the blue line. It prevents long passing behind the defense. As long as some part of each player is behind the blue line when the puck crosses the blue line, it's onside.

In the AHL, the Rochester Amerks squeaked into the playoffs needing Toronto to lose their final two games. They have just knocked off top seeded Utica and are on to the third round of the playoffs.

I can usually converse about a long time ago with guys a little older because

I was following sports as a young age I remember watching Sandy Koufax pitch and he retired when I was 5. Living in SoCal and having the Lakers, along with the Dodgers and Angels, hockey was rarely seen on TV there.

Tho rangers didn't play well yesterday , it was still a heart breaking loss..

Anytime a goal is scored in last minute...it sucks!!

I'm afraid that this might be the turning point for Tampa....
