I gave ely tons of time...but still no mention of Mariupol...interesting.
The BBC thought much of that city way back in ancient March...I assume that's changed to "doesn't mean anything" now that Ukraine has given that city up.

I don't think the developments in the past couple of days really mean much.
Russia was seeking a land bridge to Crimea.
They had that weeks ago whether they cleared the factory or not. So again, strategically or tactically, I don't think this news of any real importance.
Russia bled and bled badly for every inch of that city, given there was never supply or relief ever coming, the defenders did what needed to be done and did it with aplomb.

This is indeed a great victory for the Biden Administration.
It is such a sigh of relief for the world and NATO and our country.
I can't tell you how many nights I've been unable to sleep over the past 20 years...my brain just going 1M miles an hour thinking...if there was only a WAY we could get Sweden and Finland into NATO.
And now it's happening.
