ML 2/1's @7 Furlongs @Dirt @Bel good profits -- so far!!!

Over the past 3 seasons at Belmont since 2012 the Morning Line 2/1's have won at a rate of 44% when going 7 Furlongs on the Dirt.

Had you wagered $2 to win on the 2/1 Morning Line every time in this situation it would have cost you $140 and you would have won $171 giving you a profit of $31 which is a 22% return on your money!!





However, as someone astutely pointed out in a previous post, these small samples regress to the mean eventually. So you have to strike the iron while it's hot!!


There is plenty of time for that Bear of a mean to rare it's ugly head. However, so far, the profits have been Bullish


I guess if you're playing exactas it looks like you might have to consider the 2/1 Morning Lines in this situation to be one of your top 2 choices!!


No matter the case, it looks like you have to play to win in this situation since show wagering will not work here!!


There is a chance that races will be off the Turf tomorrow due to all of this rain if that is the case then in Race 6 #9 Reach for Yield might be the first chance to capitalize on the trend!!

Well it looks like we got one right as #4 Sudden Surprise came through and won today in the 3rd race and paid $9.90 to win!!

The Morning Line 2/1's have now won 32 out of 71 attempts when going 7 Furlongs on the Dirt at Belmont since 2012!!!

You are now getting a 27% return when wagering to win for $2 going back to May 3rd, 2012!!

There have been 3 straight wins in this situation going back to June 21st, 2015!!






There may be 4 or 5 more races going 7 Furlongs on the Dirt before the season ends at Belmont and I will continue to keep an eye out for this situation!!

For the month of October the Morning Line 2/1's going at 7 Furlongs on the Dirt at Belmont have not been profitable there have only been 2 instances and so far only 1 horse finished 3rd and the other was off the board !!







There are no plays today in this situation but I will continue to keep an eye out for it for the rest of the month.
