$7,850 stolen from Belmont Park

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/mo...icle-1.1745826

"Just a month after a sexual assault took place at Aqueduct, Belmont Park had its pockets picked for $7,850 when someone broke into a bill-accepting tote terminal in the clubhouse lobby.
Nassau County Police are investigating the crime that occurred at Belmont on March 27 around 9 p.m., according to the New York Racing Association.
The machine, which many horseplayers use to add money to their account cards — similar to a credit card — to place a wager from, had the back panel pried off, allowing the thief access to the cash."

My question is how do you even get into those or steal from them? A made up key?

Bossert writes a report for the April 4th edition of the NYDRag on a crime that took place on March 27th. He's a week late. Perps spent every cent inside of 48 hours... "Stay on it anyway, Jerry. Its NYRA".

If done while a live race was running not many eyes paying attention? Cameras all around?

Bossert's report on the Belmont Stakes this June will probably mention the rape, the trophy theft and the machine break-in,too. NYRA doesn't need him as a good-will embassador . Jerk!
