Aqu race 6 results {In the words of Harvey Pack)

"Never bet a favorite doing something the first time". Shug ,who doesn't have the greatest stats with horses stretching out anyway , sends out Peter Island today. Of course he gets beat by a horse that broke it's maiden at the distance. Nice price from Clement.

This was a one turn race, there's a difference when you go 2 turns for the first time, so the distance switch wouldn't have bothered me all that much.

The way i look to beat a horse like this is to be careful taking a very short price on a 2nd time starter who ran lights out first time. Sometimes those horses just can't duplicate a bang up effort....that would have bothered me more than the stretching out in distance would have.
