Pedro Granville, Proud Siren.
She's scheduled to make her 13th start of 2013 on April 10th at Aqueduct for trainer and owner Pedro Granville. This will be her 3rd start in 7 days (apr 3, apr 6 and apr 10) and she's coming off a 24 length loss 4 days ago in a race she looked gassed at the wire. She's raced ok this year with 3 seconds and 3 thirds and banked 27 grand, but this seems excessive.
Im no trainer and i'm sure Pedro Granville is an accomplished horseman who's well respected in the industry, so, i'm not one to question if Proud Siren has anything left to give, but as a bettor, she' not exactly one i'd be looking to put on my tickets. Seems like pretty aggressive campaign...maybe Proud Siren 'ate up all her oats' a few days ago and is raring to go. Lets hope so.

Yeah, I guess he wasn't a very good student. Murray Garren to Go was OK in my book.

In his last 10 starts he has not had more than 15 days rest. Trainer is 0% . Horse is 0 for the last two years.. Maybe they should try running twice on the same day? They are obviously not give him a break. So sad.

Tycoon Cat, same trainer: 0/10 2013, 1/21 2012.
Horse snaps his tail from flagfall to finish. Evidently not too happy about the whole situation.
Entered again this Saturday, of course.

This thing can actually run a bit, but he's a head case and everything needs to be perfect for him to perform or decide to really put out. He's a big, long striding horse who isnt really handy or quick, but if he can somehow get in the clear, he can look like he's not the slowest horse around. Last time, on the turf, he was buried in the back and finished well. But, of course, i'm sure he will 'find a way' to flash late run and not hit the board, which seems to be par for the course for the Cat.

If the Cat can ever break on top, that tail will deter anyone from passing him.

Just took a disgusting beat on the Cat in Race 1 today. Had a big bet on him at 6-1 and he 'got into the bit' early in the race, just a little too much traffic to overcome. Lost a dirty bob on a 14 dollar horse....nice way to start the day.
