He Should Have Been Pulled Up IMO

This was Cooper River's last race and the latest SM horse advocates
outrage .
I personally thought the horse was off and needed to be stopped and apparently calls have been made to the track regarding the poor judgment by the jockey .

Maybe some owners here might think I'm being too sensitive . If this was
my horse, I'd be quite upset with the jock .
note : The horses action prompted vet to test for EPM. Apparently negative .


The horse had to be Euthanized late last week .Serious pelvic injury RIP! I hope this was a learning lesson for Y Ortiz .http://youtu.be/FUIui05wlKs

Any good jockey would have sensed the horse struggling and pulled up. The horse looked lame from the start of the race.

If you see the other view, second half , the final turn was ugly . I guess that's when Ortiz was unseated .

You're right he likely wasn't right from the get go !
