Revenue at ExxonMobil soared 53% to $90.5 billion. Even with the charge for exiting Russia, net income doubled to $5.4 billion. And excluding special items, its income more than tripled to $8.8 billion from $2.7 billion a year earlier.
Oil and gas giant BP on Tuesday reported a massive upswing in full-year net profit, its highest in eight years, supported by soaring commodity prices.

Oil giant Shell on Thursday reported a sharp upswing in full-year profit, beating analyst expectations on rebounding commodity prices.
The British oil major posted adjusted earnings of $19.29 billion for the full-year 2021. That compared with a profit of $4.85 billion the previous year. Analysts polled by Refinitiv had expected full-year 2021 net profit to come in at $17.8 billion.
Let’s feel sorry for the poor oil companies who are being destroyed by Biden’s policies.
Then there is this.
Shell also announced an $8.5 billion share buyback program in the first half of 2022 and said it expects to increase its dividend by 4% to $0.25 per share in the first quarter.
WAKE UP YOU FOOL!!!!

'21 from the first guy but because he didn't have a stock of materials, he was paying significantly more this spring for aluminum and was losing his shirt so that's why he wasn't showing up. The second guy said the cost of the aluminum coils they use went up 200% from last year to this spring, I have no reason to doubt him. I ended up getting an outstanding job at a reasonable price and am very happy with it.
You are so quick to fact check everything someone outside your inner circle says when you don't have all the information. Did you know that gutter installers do not use raw aluminum to do their work? The aluminum has to be processed into flat sheets, painted, cut and rolled into coils. Then it has to be transported and stored. There are no doubt multiple middle men involved along the way. Aluminum downspouts are also not mined out of the ground.

That chart is probably for a metric ton of ingots sitting outside a foundry ready to be sent to a mill for processing. That would be equivalent to what a steer was worth before it was shipped to a slaughterhouse. If a steer as loaded into the back of a truck is worth 10% more that doesn't mean your rib eye steak only goes up 10%. Wages are up at lower level jobs, so are general business expenses so the slaughter house is charging a percentage more for processing. With high fuel prices shipping costs are way up. Sides of beef end up at a large butchering operation, and then to your local store, a big chain store operation could skip a step.
Since the age would probably be right I wonder if Mostie was the inspiration for Cliff Clavin? Someone who knows a bunch of useless facts and statistics, but is clueless on how to apply them in the real world.

Damn, how far did they travel? Or was it just a percentage added to the whole bill. I never figured out what dictates why some repair/install businesses charge a service call plus travel time and some do neither. I do most my own work unless it risks my old battered self. I don't go on roofs or down in wells. If I call a plumber to go replace a well pump I just pay labor and parts. I call a roofer to replace shingles, labor + material, again. If I called a machine technician to repair a drill press (simple example) I would likely get hit with mileage and a service charge, where the service charge only includes up to the first hour labor.

EXACTLY
Keystone would be sending product to the south TODAY, mostly for export
US petroleum export has little effect on world supply
world supply has little effect on world price
world price has little effect on US price
only people with little understanding of supply and demand or economics of commodities would believe any of that.

A few truckers post work videos on youtube. One just said he's shutting down his rig, too cost prohibitive right now he said. It's compounding an already stressed supply chain. Biden and the green new dealers got to go. January 6th would have been a great start.

We are probably on our way to a recession accompanied by inflation with the potential for this market correction to turn into a severe bear market. In other words, this could be economic hell.
It's all courtesy of delusional economic illiterates on the left headed by a total has been that at his peak couldn't understand what's going on.
What a country!
Biden was such a mediocrity as his peak and is so washed now if he was a horse Old Friends wouldn't take him.
