Multiple shot, at least 13 injured in NYC subway station
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/04/12/mult...cials-say.html
COME BACK TO THE OFFICE scream employers....why?
NYC is still an active shithole:
https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/loca...-poll/3615823/
Quote:
New York City's most powerful private-sector group commissioned a poll of the city's workforce on its future - and the gloomy results raise questions about the fate of NYC's pandemic recovery.
Some 84% of those surveyed said conditions in New York City have worsened over the last two years, and 40% or more of city residents say they're thinking about leaving, according to a Morning Consult poll conducted on behalf of the Partnership for New York City and released late Thursday.
Almost all of those polled said the city wasn't doing enough to address homelessness and mental illness, and more than 60% said they were pessimistic or unsure of the city's future. That said, some 72% indicated they wanted to be part of the city's recovery.
"Safety, homelessness, and mental illness rank as top issues for New York City’s private
sector employees. They are resisting return to the office until something is done to address them, particularly on public transit," Morning Consult wrote in a presentation posted to the Partnership's website.

Just waiting for the cats and dogs to start living together.
But on a more serious note, it's just bad here. I stopped taking the subways since the police cuts.

Watching the video, one guy, ear buds in and reading a book, totally oblivious to eeryone around him scrambling to get off the subway.....must have been a shock when he finally looked up and realized what going on.

Guess what..."person of interest" involved in this shooting was, ONCE AGAIN, on the FBI's radar....interviewed and "cleared" in 2019.
EVERY FUCKING TIME...the FBI has had these future killers on their radar...and EVERY TIME...they are "cleared" to kill...or attempt to kill...
Why are they so good at setting things up like 1/6 or the Whitmer "kidnapping"...but fail so miserably when it counts the most?

Quote:
A federal law enforcement source told Newsweek the suspect was previously known to the FBI, having been entered into the Guardian Lead system in New Mexico.
The system is the FBI's way of coordinating information from other law enforcement partners about potential terrorism-related threats and suspicious activity reports.
He was cleared after multiple interviews in 2019.
The federal law enforcement source said that he is believed to have driven to New York from New Mexico.

I thought YouTube likes to immediately scrub stuff like this when a suspect or person of interest is revealed by police and stuff on their social media accounts are discovered?
I guess not in this case, for some reason.

Deny people their 2nd amendment rights
Lock them in a tube with a couple hundred others.
Rely on every single one of them to be without malice
Do it over and over hundreds of times a day and hope nobody decides to commit a crime.
Advertise that there is a 99% chance nobody will shoot back if you decide to start killing.
A pinch of salt n pepper
Hell of a recipe

Exactly, Ralph. And because of this recipe...it will get worse before it gets better.
What will Law Enforcement/Local Government do when another Bernhard Goetz says ENOUGH??? It is literally bound to happen. This is when the proverbial shit hits the fan. When Law Enforcement tries to come down hard on someone like this...after the last two years.

It's interesting how slow they can be or how fast they can be to cancel someone.
It's almost like they were giving this guy a little more chance to be heard...

They just arrested the suspect. This happened close to where I grew up in Brooklyn. But back then, someone would get stabbed every few months on the trains and everyone would look away. Would not make national news.
One time in 1974 I had 2 guys come up to me on a train that left from Coney island and one put a knife to my throat. He said if he didn't get any money by the time he counted to 3 someone was going to get hurt. He wasn't that big but his partner looked like Mike Tyson. It felt surreal to me. He was up to 2 and I figured I better say something in case this is real.
I looked at him and said:
"What do you want to do this for? We're all brothers". He paused, thought about it for a couple of seconds and said "You're all right". And the ice was broken. But I have to say I had help from beyond.
