You atheists crack me up!
When Lemaitre first introduced the Big Bang concept in 1927 atheists were weeping with joy and dancing in the streets because they had their "proof" that God didn't create the Universe like the Bible said. Then in the early 1950's the Catholic church proclaimed that "yes, that is how God started it all, through the Big Bang." So what happens? The atheists from that moment on started to panic and decided the Big Bang was not compatible with how it all got started and have since tried in vain to disprove it. So here we are once again with another cooked up far fetched desperation idea that the Big Bang didn't happen. Why don't you guys give it up! Based on inflation the Universe had an absolute beginning and has an absolute end.
Also, keep pushing the insane Big Crunch crap as how the Universe will end, you know, the stupid notion that the Universe will cave back into itself and start the process all over again when it is clear that the Big Freeze is how it all ends. One last thing since you brought up Einstein, he said this about the Big Bang.
"This is the most beautiful and satisfactory explanation of creation to which I have ever listened." He was a believer, maybe you should join the club of rational thinkers and put away the belief that the Universe is infinitely old and God had no part in it.
