It all depends on which end of the weapon you are standing.

My 10 year old was given an assignment in school a few weeks ago. They were to read an article in a "Time For Kids Magazine" about screen time for kids. The article presented research in China about how too much screen time is bad for kids and how the government (CCP) is controlling their screen time.
The assignment was presented as an exercise in "critical thinking". The students had two choices and were to write a few paragraphs supporting their position.
1) Kids should be allowed as much screen time as they want.
and
2) The "government" should limit screen time for kids.
That was it, this is supposed to be critical thinking.
There are two things going on here, whether too much screen time is bad for kids and who should be controlling it. But that's not how it was presented. The article provided data that too much screen time is bad (which I don't disagree with) however, there was no choice in how screen time is to be limited. There was no mention of parents controlling screen time, just the government. It is normalizing the government controlling our lives. Just another example of how the left is indoctrinating our kids.

What do you expect from liberals whose thought processes usually run no deeper than a mud puddle? "Critical thinking" indeed...

One of the BIGGEST ridiculous conclusions.
This horse won this race BECAUSE (3 or 4 years ago) this sire and brodmare got together.
Salient facts left out from this bogus conclusion: all the horses with similar breeding that did NOT win, the ridiuclousness of concluding the randomness of genetic mixing during meiosis, corss over and epigenetic influences were ALL working in concert, the full siblings that did not deliver.
Go to any American Racing Manual at the pages of highest priced yearlings and you can find HUNDREDS upon hundreds of winless, theoretically well bred (and I assume reviewed as good prospect by the bloodhorse "experts" working for the bidders)
Cherry pickiing ONLY the winners, and forgetting all the saqme/similar breedings that did not produce he same result is the height of iridulous.
Anyone here of The Bride, Jareer, the Green Monkey and countless others like the clones of Ribot, the clones of Northern Dancer.....Same breeding but HUGE difference in result.
The scientific method requires that you consider ALL aspects of a situation (the ones with a good result as well as those that did not fare well), to establish ANY cause and effect.
SIMILAR FAMILIES can show trends of stamina or speed, but NO individuals over time

I wrote "something tells me"
Maybe you need to take more English lessons.
"Something tells me" DOES NOT equal "I'm quite sure"
