Without him Rams could have trouble scoring enough points.
On another note Underdogs in last 10 are 8-2 ATS. with 7 winning outright.
Line still at 2 1/2. According to Vegas Insider when line moved to -3 money came in on Rams, knocked it right back to 2 1/2 in 20 minutes.

Right on, and probably every year a majority of the money has been on the fave. I should look that up but I'm willing to bet its true . The bookies make a killing on the SB. Like I said, the people that bet all the time...….follow that. So, that doesn't surprise me at all. They see +3 as a buy. People think that they don't realize that the average person that doesn't bet much....is gonna hammer the favorite? On this game, that gets factored in and they go for the year end coup. Which, doesn't happen every time, but it works good enough.
As for Gurley, hes been hurt for a while. Even if hes recovered, hes probably not 100%. That's the beauty of Anderson. What a move, hes a downhill bowling ball with great blockers. And he picks up the blitz. I have to wonder if the Rams thought they might see the Patriots. Cause the Patriots have seen Andersons act before......and they didn't like it.

Of course, many are being swayed by the rhetoric about Rams defense.
If you believe that the Chicago Bears also had a very good defense in 2018, you might want to consider these 2 games as a reference point:
1) OCT 21st – Patroits 38 / Bears 31
2) DEC 6th -- Bears 15 / Rams 6
Another game to consider since the Eagles were also in the Playoff mix:
3) DEC 16 – Eagles 30 / Rams 23
Both teams also faced the Packers:
4) OCT 28th – Rams 29 / Packers 27
5) NOV4th – Patroits 31 / Packers 17
I’ll stay the course with the Patriots!

Ok, Not even looking it up but I have a good memory. The Bears blew that game and I believe they gave up two special teams TD's. That's how you lose to the Patriots. If the Rams do that they are done.
The Rams were down two corners vs the Packers, won anyway.
At least the Rams lost to Chicago and the Eagles. They play a way stronger schedule. One of the ways I bet is the NFC is usually better. The Patriots lost to the Dolphins and Steelers. In fact every loss (5) was vs non playoff teams. The Rams lost to the Bears, Eagles and Saints.....good luck....

Boggles my mind how good Belichick and Brady are.
Pats have well below average talent, especially when you consider a season with a hurt Gronk.
And yet, somehow they are here again.
Rams are the far more talented team across the board. Trade QBs and the Rams are a 10 point favorite.
I just simply can't believe the Patriots are favored in the game, much less 3 points. Thus, I'll simply take the UNDER in the 1st half and go from there.

Good move. For those who may not be aware. The Pats have played in 8 bowls. Total 1st quarter points 3. Last year vs eagles .

Does anyone believe that the first ¼ score might have been different had Edelman been able to play? In fact, I believe that the outcome of the entire game could have been reversed had he played.

So far, this has felt the lowest pre-superbowl buzz I've experienced. And I've been in 9!
I don't sense the country is that engaged with it.

It is amazing how they consistently beat teams that are faster and more talented. And it's not just because of Brady. He's missed 20 games since Belichick made him the starter, either because of injury or suspension, and their record in those games was 14-6! As you say, mind-boggling.

Agreed. It's probably because the perception is that the Rams got in via an awful non-call and the Saints are the rightful NFC team. Plus it's the effing Patriots -- again. Reminds me a bit of when the Bulls had their dynasty when MJ played. People were probably saying "oh no...it's the Bulls -- again". And now more recently with Golden State and whatever team LeBron was on.
And I don't think that the SB commercials have been that good over the last few years either.

I lost most interest as soon as I heard CBS is covering it - that means Tony Romo. I want a Super Bowl, not bring your kid to work day.
Predictions.
1. Pats 31 Rams 22
2. Gronk retires after today's game.
3. He shows in a WWE ring by Wrestlemania
4. I run out of beer in the third quarter.

I'm a patriot and the Rams shouldn't even be in the Super Bowl since the refs robbed the Saints.
