The Doug Watson trained Draft looks like the biggest danger.
Great day of racing there - I'm looking forward to it.

Aqueduct actually has a great card Saturday as well.
I haven’t followed any of the Dubai racing at all this year. Does anyone know if the dirt course played like a conveyor belt this year like it did last year?

6 Americans in the Classic of 13 horses.
Has to be some kind of record, right?
Have 6 Americans ever ran in the Dubai Classic?

2000 won by Dubai Millennium, if you count international raider Running Stag, who was American-bred, and ran the majority of his races between 1999-2000 in the United States.

I spent most of my time looking at Dubai instead of Florida Derby card which looks really pathetic, they got two really crappy ALW carded in the final P-4. Compared to two years ago, GP is nothing more than Tampa South.
On Dubai card, unlike last year there are many excellent JPN turf horses including the phenon ALMOND EYE, she is the Nipponese version of Enable and excels at 1 1/2 distance, however, she'll be running at 1 1/18 and has not raced since Nov. If she wins she'll be the next international star. I'll use her along with another JPN filly DEIDRE.
Rey the Oro is another excellent JPN horse going in the 1 1/2 Sheema Classic along with SUAVE RICHARD(Jpn) and CHAVAL GRAND(Jpn), of course it's though to ignore any GODOLPHIN horses here since it's their meet and they can win anything including Almutawakel' Dubai Classic win in 1999.
Having said that I am going to include only CAPEZZANO( Sultan Ali) along with the Americans( Gunnevera, Seeking the Soul and Yoshida) in the Classic.
In the Golden Shaheen I like PROMISES FULFILLED and IMPERIAL HINT. Navarro can take XY Jet to Cuba.
Advance wagering on Dubai is available on TVG!
