the last time i saw gas go below $1.00 was during the mid 1990's. at that time we had a super strong currency and a high growth rate much like the mid 1950's.

My outlet from cabin fever is getting out and driving the country roads for at least an hour a day. Otherwise, I'm playing by the rules in place although driving doesn't violate them. I should be walking for exercise though.

Ditto that. Although our prices north of the river might be a dime or two higher. But the ditto part is that I've gone out almost every day just to drive, smoke a cigar, check river levels and the general greening of the environment, stuff like that.
And go through the local drive-thru to get my daily ration of beer.

This. I take care of my mom who is wheelchair bound these days. Her garden was made for two people (her and pops) to work in several hours everyday. I have had a difficult time over the past couple of years keeping it up but with one job on hold now (OTB) I have been out there everyday. Toss on the headphones and listen to music or a podcast and have really enjoyed it.

There's reports of a steady decline of truck drivers. No telling what that will eventually add to the price.
