Vagrancy - Gr3
Feature at Belmont today, and I'll try to get the #1 Funny How home.
Doubt the 6-1 ML holds, but I'll gladly accept that price if I get it.
Won five straight and then ran a nice 2nd in the Gr3 Distaff off the freshening, proving this NY bred can run with high quality open company. Got a great trip but really finished up & galloped out nicely that day. Handal barn has been on a tear for months now. Strong finisher with tactical speed is drawn well inside. Stalks, pounces.
Using with the #2, who also hails from a torrid barn in Atras. Her two biggest figs came on non fast surfaces, but she's another quality NY bred who may catch an easy lead. Badly bumped after the start last out, rushed wide, faded. Respect.
#6 Dr B ran a massive race in the Gr3-Go For Wand last December, but beware the big sloppy track numbers. They sometimes lie. Her previous race was also nice though, and if she's ready off the shelf she can win this.
The #5 has a little hang in her (one time winner) and I'll toss her.
The #3 is the class, and a good second to champion Goodnight Olive last summer might be all you need to see to tab her as the winner. She went on the shelf after that (she's always going on the shelf it seems) and came back with a dull run at Tam...then three more months on the shelf. Working well, likes Bel, but smells like an underlay.
The #4 is trending back to her best races from last year. Sharp work, loves the track & distance, Lalman has my respect...maybe. No lasix today.
Ex: 2-6 w 1
Ex: 1 w 2-3-4-6
Win: 1
Good luck
