My 6th grade teacher said we could watch a game of the 1972 World Series if anyone could name the color in the name of two A's pitchers. Nobody guessed Vida Blue or "Blue Moon" Odom, but he let us watch it anyway.

Rest in Peace, I am shocked he was only 73. Most athletes I remember from when I was a kid that recently died are 80+. He must have been a star at a young age.
