Woodbine off the turf Nov. 16-18

Race 1 last night was cancelled due to a jockeys protest over the condition of the turf, even though no turf races were on the card. Woodbine apparently has agreed to run all races on the main track through at least Sunday.

Laurel just cancelled for the day while preparing to load the starting gate for the 1st.

thought it was idiotic the past few weekends that they have been carding turf races with the weather and temperatures. then last sunday they run one turf race and pull the rest of them which sucks for the horizontal wager players. i appreciate the heads up, will make the advanced handicapping a lot easier.
