seems like they want to control everything. I was watching an interview with Kirstie Alley who said "coming out" as a Trump supporter if you weren't a star in Hollywood was a career killer. Look how many people complain about Tucker and Fox News, and how many people hated the late Rush Limbaugh?

I don't want to throw a cold towel on anyone's enthusiastic expectations over this purchase; but I will caution y'all to proceed cautiously, lest you be let down hard. We shouldn't forget that Elon Musk is a self-proclaimed socialist. And, secondly, he is in bed with China, perhaps, as no other entrepreneurial businessman is. We all know the old saying about what happens when one lays down next to a dog with fleas, right?
Just sayin'...

Exactly, boxcar. He didn't get to be the richest man on Earth by making purchases of Businesses that "weren't about the money".

By the way, I am actually a socialist. Just not the kind that shifts resources from most productive to least productive, pretending to do good, while actually causing harm. True socialism seeks greatest good for all.

Everyone has a different understanding of socialism. It all depends on age, socioeconomic status and political persuasion.
It is inevitable that socialism will come to dominate politics worldwide. Automation/robotics will continue to make traditional employment obsolete. Governments will either provide for their citizens or face chaos.

My observations about political reality have zero to do with left or right leanings.
I’ve made my money as a capitalist but that is not sustainable. Long after we’re gone the world will be a different place.
Capitalism will not survive.
