Welcome to reality: Many of the people that are not filling up their tanks don't have the money to fill up their tanks. Especially with gas at $5 a gallon. They are living pay check to pay check, and hoping that this quarter tank will last them until the next paycheck.

Elk, I only associate with "normal" people out here in Cali, who are rightly pissed-off....but SOMEONE is electing these idiots. It should have been a lock to recall Newsome, but yet he skated by with nary a scratch.
If DA's Garcetti and Boudin in SF aren't recalled--I will never participate in any elections again.

Believe an error is at play if indeed the national average is 4 bucks. Stations around me are 4.20 or better. I doubt there are many places in Texas higher than the national average.

$4.79 a gallon of gasoline, $6.49 a gallon of diesel today. Wonder how the Biden horn honkers are doing, or if they could afford to drive to his rallies.
Oh well, Biden rides Marine One, Air Force one, and his armor plated, inch glass window limo entourage average about 4 miles a gallon. All at taxpayers expense of course. Brandon has no worries.
