The similarities between the treatments of truckers and the treatment of the 1/6 "insurrectionists" is the new reality. They are one in the same. Our Governments have a very similar agenda and they will do anything to protect themselves. They could give a rats ass if some protesters burn down ten city blocks as long as their "authority" is not being challenged. Once they feel their authority is being challenged or might be challenged, up come the fences, here comes the National Guard of even the Military if need be. Both governments are in a outright war against their own people and maybe 2 out of 3 people do not have a clue . It is not a traditional war, it is a war for power. They do not want the people to have any power, they want themselves (the government) to have all the power.

It starts off with overreaction to what they can justify. "The protesters were insurrectionists", "The Truckers were blocking bridges and starving out the people". So then they go over the top on the punishment as a deterrent to any future protests People get scared. They(many) aren't waking up to the fact that the government is at war against them, but they will wake up to the fact that if they protest our government they will pay a big price (prison, assets seized, no due process...) They are sending a message, **** with us and your life will be miserable. How far this goes, remains to be seen as time go on. It is their road to totalitarianism. Protesting is fine unless you protest against the powers that be. What do they care if you loot a 100 stores and burn down a city block. Not their problem. Once they get the power they seek, good luck ever getting it back. Good luck ever living in a free society again. How bearable or unbearable that will become remains to be seen. What they ultimately will want when they get that power also remains to be seen. I am not looking forward to finding out.

To those who believe we live in a democracy, you might want to stop listening to the MSM (no evidence of election fraud) and listen to your common sense (if the propaganda hasn't sapped it all away). If the people in power, have an insatiable desire to remain in power, they will do whatever it takes to remain there). If you think rigging elections is not in their bag of tricks, you better think again.

Looks like Trudeau decided he didn't want to become the next Fidel Castro after all.

BREAKING: Justin Trudeau revokes Emergencies Act:

Of course, maybe the Canadian Senate had a hand in his decision.

'Out of concern about the lack of judicial oversight in the freezing of assets'

A senator appointed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has issued a statement saying he will vote against the continuation of the Emergencies Act.

Senator Pierre Dalphond said in the statement: “I have decided to vote against the motion to authorize the continuation of the state of emergency, out of concern about the lack of judicial oversight in the freezing of assets.

The poll numbers must have been coming in, as well as many provinces cancelling the mandates ...

Now he has decided that most of the bank freezes can be dropped.

"I've never really seen one, but that has all the earmarks of being a bank run."

As this fades out of the news cycle due to Ukraine, there's still laughs to be found at Trudeau's expense:
