Glenn Greenwald: "The ADL is a distant shadow of itself..."
So glad someone else other than me speaks the truth about the ADL.

To paraphrase Glenn Greenwald in the above video:
"These truckers are having their lives destroyed not because they murdered someone, or sex-trafficked children, or trafficked drugs, or raped someone....but for PROTESTING. For protesting government policies."
Amazing.

Protesting is carrying placards and shouting slogans.
Blocking streets and bridges, interfering with commerce and safety of the citizenry is hooliganism.

If they threw in some looting, building burning, and assault, would that make it a protest?

If you are suggesting that I have an affinity for Antifa or other like groups you would be wrong. I’m a law and order guy. Those juveniles deserved a boot up their asses.

In other words, protest out of sight and mind of the state.

So charge them with obstruction.
Trudeau had no right to interfere with their banking.

Apparently, emergency powers give him the right.

Great idea!
Pay all your bills in person or buy money orders. Bet that’ll be convenient.
Not to mention what it will do to your credit rating.

Leaders that push the envelope will continue to push the envelope and soon the folks that live under their leadership will find that the freedoms they once enjoyed are a thing of the past. There are always rationalizations for allowing leaders to do this, but just like what is happening in our country, the more it happens the less free everyone becomes. At the end of the day we learn that freedoms we once took for granted are history. Covid was a perfect example of this. If folks do not learn to put limits on the powers of their leaders no matter what the rationalization they ultimately will have no freedom and be at the mercy of these leaders.
