since he struck first with the lawyers it's kind of hard to side with him although i hate to see the salt of the earth new jersey gambler under attack from a famous super trainer.

"shoe" seems far less guilty and even somewhat entertaining??

But since defamation cases are so hard to win when you're famous like Baffert...one has to think he must have a pretty good belief that he can prove that what was said was indeed false.

Plus he has to prove malicious intent...which I think is an automatic given the personalities involved.
How is Baffert doing when he ultimately gets to court?
He is the Giancarlo Stanton of the thoroughbred horse racing world.
BIG swing and a miss.
Loser. Take a seat.

You think?

Why would he waste his time with:

a) people who probably don't have any $$...plus, like he needs the $$$ even if they had some?
b) trying to bring a suit he knows he can't win?

Really now...

And btw, go fuck yourself

I am strongly against both parties but this is tailor made for Peta to get publicity going into the Breeders Cup. Swift has no money and after ripping people off went public I doubt any of his "friends" will help him pay for a decent attorney. The Bafferts were morons to file this suit. Should have done everything they could to get him criminally but this was a big mistake IMO

Proof

I'll chime in as far as Medina Spirit and Baffert go. Where is the proof?
Everything I have read or seen seems to support what Baffert has said all along? Hasn't it? I think Churchill stepped way over the line extending his suspension.

Saw that on Twitter as well. Is there an actual list of the 75 or is this just some random number that can't be substantiated?

Pretty much where I'm landing as well.

I'm all for the 1st Amendment and freedom of speech, but there are times when a line must be drawn.
