Good luck downloading GPX @ Bris Sunday

It comes out gpx1212j.zip. I called the tech dept there--was told their original was corrupted--with no back-up. They're sending out AllWays data files instead. The tech informed that AllWays is free to download

I said the same thing on 11-28-21 about the AQU file. I told them to put the MCP file instead of the All-Ways file! You can't load that file in anything, but All-Ways or the PP generator.

This issue has happened about 3 or 4 times in the past few months. Not sure why they can't fix it. BS really. Not getting what you pay for. MCP would be OK.

What type of file were you trying to download? A single file that would have the same basic architecture as Multicaps?

There’s a technical issue with the drf file and it couldn’t be corrected, so they instead put the AllWays data file in-place of the drf file. The main problem is that file will not work in any software program that uses a drf file.

The problem is, whoever upgraded their software was clueless how handicappers use their files, causing other issues, such as extended download times, error messages during downloads multiple times etc. To them any file is probably the same.

You nailed it, Vegas. When the tech informed me All Ways was free to download (like that made everything okay), I realized whoever at Bris making these decisions didn't have a clue.

The $2 Hat file used to be interchangeable with the single file. I downloaded it by mistake one DAY and it worked in Pandy programs and MPH. More expensive, but in a pinch.....

You're exactly right, Tom...downloaded the Aaodds Hat file for GPX, works fine in my software. First thing I looked at--Maiden 2nd timers. Found a wager-ASKEW in the 3rd...went to bet it, the race had already gone off. I wasted too much time trying to get the data.

These are files already paid for and go into a database. It is NOT just random files that I will never use again.
