I remember when I was a kid, it seemed the Yankees would always get a big boost in important play-off games from unexpected sources, like when Bucky Dent's hitting terrorized the Dodgers in 1978. Bucky Dent, World Series MVP,
I wonder what the odds were on that one?

Rising to the challenge is long gone in this era of greed and personal accomplishments...
There is no doubt that Judge will leave Yankees

The problem is Aaron Judge, is he the player from the his rookie season and last year, or the 3 yrs in between? He has been able to stay healthy for any long stretches of time. Personally, I feel he will turn back into the pumpkin he was between these two great years. Remember he just turned 30 yrs of age. He was not a 19/20 yr old when he came to the majors. From this point onward, he may have a decent couple of yrs, and that would be it. Somebody is going to pay him a lot of money, and is going to get stuck with a bad contract. Just look at Stanton, who hit 59 hrs in 2017. Hasn’t approached those levels since.

Yankees are stuck with big contracts and garbage players...
They will not add Judge's 40-50 millions that he'll ask for....
There are better up n coming teams in need of that someone like him and will pay
plus theres the turmoil of rid n Cashman and Boone to deal with
bye bye

He played 157 games this year? Not too shabby in terms of durability...

I believe that he'll go and Yankees start the rebuilding process again....
They will begin trading players like Cole, Donaldson, Torrez etc etc
to build up their farm system which is depleted of talent
starting fresh for the new management
